RUHU FARM – LIVESTOCK

This report provides an update on the progress of the piggery and dairy projects at the farm. The overall performance of the farm activities is encouraging, and steady improvements continue to be made.
Piggery Project Status: The piggery project is progressing well. The pigs are healthy and are being properly managed. Adequate feeds are available, and the feeding program is ongoing as planned.
Dairy Project Status: The farm currently has two cows, and construction of the cows’ house (cattle shed) is in progress. The construction work is moving steadily and is expected to provide proper shelter, improved hygiene, and better management of the animals.
Once completed, the cows’ house will:
- Improve animal comfort and health.
- Enhance milk production.
- Provide better protection against harsh weather conditions.
Appreciation: We would like to sincerely thank our administration and donors for their continued support towards the development of the farm. Their financial, material, and moral support has greatly contributed to the progress made in both the piggery and dairy projects. We appreciate their commitment and partnership, which motivates us to continue improving and expanding the farm activities.
Chicken Coup: We are now going to begin construction on the chicken coup, and updates will be provided soon.
Conclusion: Overall, the farm is performing well. The piggery project is stable and promising, and the dairy project is developing steadily with ongoing construction. With continued support, increased feeding, and expansion of livestock, the farm is expected to achieve higher productivity and sustainable growth.
RUHU CAREER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

Introduction and Greetings: Greetings to you all in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much for your unending love and support towards the RUHU career relations department students. This report entails what has been going on in the career relations department for this month, especially concerning the welfare and academic progress of the University, Institute, and Vocational students in their respective universities and institutions.
Activities: V. got sick and was offered medical treatment after it was found out that he had a lot of pain. He was taken to Rubaga Hospital, and he had a scan taken for his testicles because they had been hit hard as he played football. His pain was managed, and he was asked to go for review to the hospital urologist, which he did, and he was asked to go back after a month for review. Fortunately, he was found well, and he was treated to prevent any infection from happening, as well as manage his pain. He is now able to walk well and is awaiting review.
R. was able to shift to another hostel after having a lot of issues with her previous hostel. We were able to get her a safer and better house, and she started her semester in a new hostel thanks to the hostel funds provided.
Students have been able to start school for all categories. This includes University students, Institute students, as well as the children at the Vocational Institute of RUHU. They have all fully settled back in school, and their tuition fees, hostel fees, upkeep/feeding, and transport have been provided to them all. Special thanks to our dear sponsors for making this achievable.
We have been able to successfully clear graduation fees for the students, and they have been able to get their gowns and all graduation materials. These students include Medi, Abdul, Henry, and Vincent.
We have been able to prepare for the beginning of the year entry meeting for students, and we concluded by setting 6th March as the date for the meeting. This will include all the continuing students and the students who are going to graduate.
On the 27th of February, we had our own graduates from YMCA Comprehensive Institute, and these included Medi (certificate in automobile mechanics), Abdul (diploma in computer science), and Henry (certificate in electrical engineering). We are glad to have them go into their careers as brave men in the job market. The graduation team was led by Pamela, Viola, Racheal, Agnes, and Christopher, who represented the RUHU parents’ team.
Student Updates: Ontario is at the Village of Hope community clinic, where he is doing his placement as he awaits graduation later in November this year.
David and Ontario are also going to start their short course in March, and this is a certificate in HIV care and counselling as they await graduation.
Sharon graduated from Gifted Hands and is currently working at a mosquito net manufacturing company in Mbuya.
Our medical students have been actively involved in the medical outreaches. David helps with pharmacy, and Alex is in the laboratory. These give the students exposure and enable them to meet a number of patients in a busy environment.

The stage of construction of the new girls’ dormitory is now nearly finishing the ground floor. This is a great blessing.
This month, the vocational construction has kick-started, and we are grateful for the overwhelming support.
We also can’t forget your support and provisions for the staff salaries, food, and all other necessities of the organization. We understand the tough fundraising times, but we are so grateful for all that Beautiful Response is doing.
This month, we have been able to host our medical outreaches, and so far, we have handled 23 medical outreaches in different communities, treating over 150 patients per medical outreach. This has saved the lives of so many ill people who had lost hope. The outreaches are headed by Dr. Pamela and with a team of 11 volunteers from the United States, together with the Ugandan team.
After a long period, the electricity company has started the installation of the electricity poles at the Village of Hope. We are grateful for the support. We shall be updating you once electricity is fully installed.
Because of your support, we managed to take all the kids to school. We are thankful for the support.
The organization managed to rescue more kids from the slums, including young mothers from different slums of Kampala.
We also graduated more students from University. Thank you. We are grateful for the support.
PRAYER – We ask for prayers for…
We seek God’s favor for RUHU’s mission and goals to be achieved. We pray for the programs to be impactful and to bring about lasting change. We pray and seek God’s provision for the RUHU’s financial needs in 2026. We pray for wisdom and unity for the team and leadership. We pray for resilience, perseverance, and strength to overcome challenges and continue working towards RUHU’s vision. We pray for protection and seek divine protection for all involved in RUHU. We pray for divine wisdom and guidance and ask for God’s guidance on decisions and direction.
We pray that God continues to provide our monthly salaries and monthly operations throughout 2026. And that we overcome the challenging issues we have in schools due to budget cuts.
We pray for the fundraising campaigns to be successful with Beautiful Response and other fundraising events. We pray that more funds are donated so that we can meet the goal of term 1 school fees for all kids in 2026.
