“Beautiful Response is different because it has boots-on-the-ground experiences in Uganda. They know the leaders of RUHU and all the children on a first-name basis.”
Pamela Tipler may be our newest board member, but she comes with years of unique experiences and first-hand knowledge of the kind of medical care needed in Uganda.
Pamela first got involved with Beautiful Response when traveling to Uganda in 2017. After that trip, she decided to sponsor a child. Since then, she has had the privilege of traveling to Uganda on several occasions. On those trips, Pamela was able to interact with “William, the rest of the leadership of RUHU, and the children many times.” She reflected on her time in Uganda saying, “My heart is always full when I am there with them. They have so much love and joy despite their pasts. They are truly filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Pamela brings her expert skill as a medical professional, “I am a physician with nine years of experience in the mission field as a medical provider,” Pamela shared. She continued, “I also spent time in the army and deployed for a year as a flight surgeon and have my diploma in tropical medicine. Thus, I have hands-on experience in Uganda and many other developing countries.”
When asked what makes Beautiful Response different from other similar organizations, Pamela responded, “Beautiful Response is different because it has boots-on-the-ground experiences in Uganda. They know the leaders of RUHU and all the children on a first-name basis.” She also added, “They [BR], engage regularly with the people of Uganda.” Beautiful Response is a hands-on organization. We pride ourselves on our close relationships with our partner organizations.
Beautiful Response is a close-knit community of people who are dedicated to using their time and talents to improve the lives of the people of Uganda and Haiti. Pamela noted that “furthering the mission of Beautiful Response is vital for the sustainability of RUHU so they can continue to rescue and care for these vulnerable children.” Unfortunately, Pamela pointed out, there is a “lack of awareness and knowledge of what RUHU can do for these children and for their country.” BR’s mission is to raise awareness of this important cause and continue to support the funding and education of RUHU.
